The Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Massachusetts General Hospital Integrated Program in Obstetrics and Gynecology prides itself in fostering an environment of inclusion and diversity. We welcome applicants from across the country and the world, of any age and ethnic background who are compassionate, intellectually curious, high achieving and enthusiastic!
Please be advised that we only accept applications through the Electronic Residency Applications Service (ERAS). The general guidelines for applying to our program are as follows:
All applications must be received by September 20th. This does not include the MSPE (Dean’s Letter), which we will receive directly from your institutions at the beginning of October.
All completed applications are reviewed by our selection committee, however, no decision is made until after we receive the MSPE. Once this is received and reviewed, interview invitations will be offered, which typically occurs during the first half of October.
Our program interviews approximately 130 applicants each year. We have two interview days, both Fridays, one in November and one in December. We offer two sessions per day with Group A interviewing in the morning and Group B interviewing in the afternoon.
We currently use the Thalamus Interview System to manage our interview days. If you have been selected to interview, you will receive an email from our program followed by an invitation to sign up for Thalamus. If you do not receive an invitation to sign up for Thalamus with your interview request, be sure to check your Spam email folder. Please note that there are a limited number of interview spaces for each group.
